TakeWare® Gatekeeper Polices a wide range of device types including:

File Fingerprinting                  
Gatekeeper uses 'file fingerprints' to identify specific file types such as MP3 and EXE - even when they are renamed to obscure this. This means that users can’t hide a file type by renaming etc.              

Hard Logon  / Strong user verification
Requires a registered device to be inserted in order to logon and/or continue working.

PKI Technology
TakeWare Gatekeeper uses PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) strong encryption technology. This means that not only it is very secure and robust – it can also be flexible and remain in full operation even when disconnected from the network. So laptops can be managed when away from the establishment giving extra peace of mind.

Unauthorised devices             
If an unauthorised drive is plugged in the system requests the removal of the drive and seizes the system temporarily – until the offending device is removed.

Auditing         
Auditing is configured to track all key activities and actions. Audit data is stored centrally for easy reporting.
